Cathy lives in Wellington, New Zealand and has a career in entertainment and events spanning twenty five years, across multiple departments (including audio, lighting, design, technical management, site management, and event management).  Highlighting this is a 22 years relationship with Indian Ink Theatre Company (as technical manager) touring extensively with them throughout New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Scotland, Germany, Canada, India, Fiji, and the USA.  In 2012 Cathy started HiViz Event Management, a company specializing in health and safety consultancy, delivery and education for the arts, entertainment, and event industries. And when it’s time to unwind, Cathy’s happy place is open water swimming in the salt waters that surround Aotearoa (New Zealand).
