Doug has had a varied career in the live performance industry. After leaving Ryerson Theatre School he worked as a technician at the Blyth Festival in the summer and George Brown Theatre School during the fall and winter. He became the Technical Director and then the Production Manager of Factory Theatre in Toronto. After leaving Factory he worked as a freelance Production Manager and Technical Director for many independent theatre companies around Toronto as wall as returning to George Brown as their Production Manager. Later he became a construction manager for Production Canada, a corporate events company in Vaughn. For the past four years Doug has been the Technical Director of the Confederation Centre in Charlottetown PEI.
